What's the point of this? There are two reasons I'm doing this. First, wouldn't you like to be able to take your MLP fanfics with you wherever you go via your Kindle, Nook, iPad, smart phone, or whatever? I hope to enable you to easily accomplish this. Right now the way most read their fanfics is by sitting at their computer with Google Docs open. Sure it works, but you could be sitting in bed with a lightweight Kindle, rather than a heavy laptop across you. This leads to my second reason for doing this. Currently what do you do when you finish the chapter of a fanfic? Go back to the source, find the next chapter and then continue reading? That can kind of pull you out of the immersion you might have built up, huh? All the eBooks made available here will contain the entire fanfic in a single file and include a table of contents for easy navigation (one-part stories will not have a ToC). As new chapters are released by the author, the eBook will be updated for you to download here.
Some basic information about how this will all work
Right now I'm in the process of making eBooks of all the popular, long-running stories. While it would be nice to have every story available as an eBook today, I'm only one guy and that's not really possible. Also slowing this down is getting the permission of the authors to post their stories here.
What this site is NOT is a place to get your new fanfics posted. All the eBooks here will be of fanfics that have been submitted to and approved by Equestria Daily.
For now, all the files will be hosted through MediaFire. I hope to be able to host them myself soon enough, but for now this will have to do. Anyway, click the eBooks link above for the first couple of eBooks I've created. (I've spent all my time making this site, so there's not a lot right not, but give me time.) Those of you using Amazon Kndle should download the Mobi format, for everypony else, I suggest grabbing the EPUB files. Enjoy!
